Thank You for a Beautiful Christmas Season

It’s been another beautiful season, and we’re glad to have been able to share it with so many of you. Whether you stopped by to find this year’s keepsake ornaments, the perfect fresh-cut tree, or maybe to visit Santa’s reindeer, we loved having you here, and we wish you all a Merry Christmas!

The Joy of the Season

Every year, we’re always honored to be a part of so many of your holiday traditions. Finding just the right tree to bring home on top of the car, snapping those festive family photos, or seeing Santa and his reindeer again – we’re happy to know that these yearly traditions bring so much joy and comfort to our community.

Sharing Europe’s Favorite Traditions

This year, we partnered with other family businesses in Germany and Poland to bring more of Europe’s favorite Christmas traditions here to Omaha. With that, we were excited to introduce The Ornament Shop with an expanded collection of extraordinary glass ornaments – hand-blown and hand-painted by European artisans. And we enjoyed welcoming back local calligrapher Cheryl Dyer to create custom gift tags at our gift-wrap station too.

Celebrating with Local Partners

It’s been a lot of fun to share our space this season with so many talented makers here in Omaha. The incredible scent of fresh, German-roasted nuts from The Nut Hutte. Delicious farm-to-cone ice cream from Coneflower Creamery. Botanical candles from our friends at Wax Buffalo. A big thank you to these and all our local partners who spent the season with us – and to all of you who came to help support local businesses.

Getting in the Spirit with Popup Concerts

It wouldn’t be Christmas without that special soundtrack of familiar songs to refresh our holiday spirit. We are so grateful to the Omaha Chamber Music Society and the Northern Lights Choir for filling the Greenhouse with their musical celebration of the season.

A Season to Remember

A whole new year is about to begin – and with it come possibilities for fascinating plants, new hobbies, new friends, and a return to favorite pastimes too. We hope you’ve enjoyed sharing the tradition and community of this holiday season with us as much as we have with you. When you visit again, you’ll see our new winter hours – beginning this Saturday, we’ll be here from 9am to 6pm every day. And once again, thank you. We’re honored that you’ve made us a part of your holiday traditions during this extraordinary year – and we look forward to seeing you again in the new one.
