Our Rarest Houseplants Yet

Recently, we were able to bring in an unbelievable collection of houseplants that included some rare and spectacular plants we’ve had our eye on for a long time. Knowing how excited you’d be to see them – and to make it as safe as possible for everyone to shop – we loaded them all into our back House 3 and invited our Instagram followers to come visit by appointment. We were amazed by the response and want to thank everyone who participated. And if you missed the first chance to browse the collection, it’s not too late – stop by to see the many rare gems we still have in our Greenhouse.

Some Highly Anticipated Beauties

The rare collection of houseplants in House 3 included some of the most highly sought-after items on our wish list. The most popular plant of the group turned out to be our variegated Monstera ‘Thai Constellation’ – we were able to secure just a limited number of these gems, and they really flew out of here. Another favorite included Philodendron ‘Pink Princess.’ In fact, philodendron fans had many reasons to be excited with the cultivars ‘White Wizard,’ ‘Caramel Marble,’ ‘Ring of Fire,’ and ‘Burle Marx’ to choose from, among others as well. The two varieties of ZZ plants – variegated and ‘Black Raven’ – were a huge hit. And we think just about everyone walked out with a hanging string of turtles – Peperomia prostrata – in their hand too.

Are They Gone?

No! If you missed the initial opportunity in House 3, don’t worry. While a couple of the most limited varieties went quickly, plenty of others are still available to take home. But they’ve moved out of House 3. Now you’ll find them on their own table located in our main Greenhouse with the rest of our houseplant collection. In addition to the ones mentioned above, you’ll find two different anthuriums, the caudex plant Stephania erecta, two more philodendron species, ric rac cactus, a gorgeous variegated whale fin sanseveria, and more.

Looking Forward to More

Welcoming the arrival of such rare houseplants is a special event – and we were so glad we got to share our excitement with many of you. These amazing plants aren’t easy to come by, but the next time we’re able to snag some, we’ll let you know. Thank you again for visiting our House 3 collection and celebrating these rare finds with us.
