With the shorter days and cooler weather, the seasons are certainly changing – not just outdoors, but even inside your home. And that means it’s time to think about adjusting your plant-care routine for the late fall and winter. Maybe you’re admiring all the new growth your houseplants put on this summer, but soon, they’ll be slowing down. And they’ll need your help adjusting to shorter days, less humidity, and cooler temperatures. Join us for our next seminar, Houseplants 101: Winter Care, on October 20th at 10am, where we’ll share all our best tips and techniques for helping your houseplants thrive through the winter.
Learn Our Best Tips
Our speaker, Plant Care team member Woody Wood, has a passion for plants of all kinds, and she enjoys sharing her enthusiasm and experience with others. Whether you love cacti or calathea, keeping plants indoors is pretty easy when you know how to provide the environment they need. In her engaging, conversational style, Woody will share tips for adjusting your winter plant-care routine – including when and how to water, finding the right light, providing humidity, and avoiding common mistakes. She’ll even address the occasional challenges that might pop up – like insects and growth issues – and suggest easy solutions to remedy those too.
