For more than 45 years, the skilled artisans at Byers’ Choice have brought one-of-a-kind keepsakes to life, handcrafted in Pennsylvania. Each figure starts with wire hanger frame on a plaster base, followed by a wrapped tissue body dressed in a thoughtful, handmade costume. To create each head and face, clay is pressed into hand-designed molds — while the clay is still workable, artisans adjustment the eyes, brows, and cheeks and open the mouth in its signature singing expression. After drying, painted details are added by hand, giving each figure its own unique personality.
How to Display Byers’ Choice Carolers
For a classic caroling scene, gather figures of different ages and heights together with a simple accessory such as a lamppost or miniature tree. Individual figures also work well placed on mantels and shelves, creating unexpected touches of holiday magic all throughout your home.
