Pansies Are Here!

It’s a moment our team anticipates every year – the arrival of all our early spring pansies. With their bright colors and distinct faces, they’re a good reminder that winter is behind us, and it’s time to welcome spring color back to our doorsteps. We’re excited to share this year’s pansy collection – in beautiful colors and great sizes for an early start to spring.

Our Color Palette

Here in the greenhouse, you’ll find every kind of springtime pansy hue to welcome the season – sunny yellow, glowing violet, rich orange, and deep red. We’ve brought in some beautiful mixes too. The Matrix Blotch Mix is a favorite – with its vivid combination of dark blue, rich burgundy, golden-yellow, and cream. If a monochromatic blend is more your style, look for the Daffodil Mix – a warm gathering of yellows and oranges, and crisp whites. The Delta Watercolor Mix is a team favorite – with beautiful pastel shades of purple, pink, yellow, orange, and blue. Or you can combine your favorite solid-colored pansies with our coordinating two-toned varieties to create your own custom palette.

In addition to our traditional 6-packs we also have 12-inch pansy bowls already planted and ready to go – as well as full hanging baskets for one more way to enjoy early spring pansies too.

Early Spring Blooms

Their colors are bright, and those iconic pansy faces are charming, but don’t let them fool you – pansies are tough. They’re exactly the kind of flower to usher in a fitful Nebraska spring – when one tantalizingly warm day is followed by freezing temperatures the next. They’ll even take a layer of snow and bounce right back when it’s gone. If temperatures fall into the single digits though, your pansies may appreciate a light blanket for just a bit of insurance until the cold spell passes, but what an easy trade-off for all that early-spring color.
