We like plants, people, and beautiful spaces. John Mulhall came to Omaha in 1953 to landscape, and now, three generations later, we’re as committed as we’ve ever been to making Omaha a more beautiful place to live. Today we’re a team of a few hundred people, but our focus remains the same: working together to engage our community and share our passion for the beauty of the natural world. And we have fun doing it.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

As the Front-End Lead, you’ll report to our Front-End Manager and work to build a team of Front-End team members that moves our customers accurately, efficiently, and congenially through the registers. You’ll offer training and guidance to our seasonal Front-End Team Members – all in line with our vision to be the most loved plant shop in the country.

YOUR IMPACT

• Model our Customer Journey: The 15:5 Rule, Be the Guide, Keep It Seamless, Forget-Me-Nots, and Close the Deal
• Lead training by partnering with the Front-End Manager to facilitate Front-End training in line with our Three-Step Training Model
• Champion conversion by setting  an example for the Front-End by achieving new member conversion results at or better than your weekly, monthly, and annual plan
• Lead the Concessions process by producing in line with the weekly production schedule, ensuring all items are completed on time and to standard
• Execute the cash process, including deposits, withdrawals, and reconciliations

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• A belief in and passion for our purpose – beautifying our community
• 2+ years of retail experience, preferred
• The ability to manage multiple, competing priorities with a consistently positive response to pressure
• The ability to bend and lift 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work in a variety of weather conditions
• A supportive team player who anticipates problems and works collaboratively to solve them
