Backyard Naturalist: Native Plants

As part of our Backyard Naturalist series, we’ll be exploring the topic of native plants and why they matter. One of our own native-plant enthusiasts, Bob Ewing, will explore some of the biggest benefits of including native plants in your garden. He’ll also show some of our favorite native plants from the nursery and what makes each of them so special. From supporting native birds and pollinators to the way they thrive in our Nebraska climate, native plants are especially able to support our natural ecosystem and our gardening success. And they have a unique ability to show off the beauty of our natural Midwestern landscapes.
