Organics for the Garden

Mycorrhizae - a beneficial fungus carried in pelletized and capsulated forms. The fungus creates rapid growth of the roots and shoots of plants which result in better bloom and fruit capacity.

Organic Insect Controls

Beneficial Nematodes - These feed on the larval state of insects that are soil born (i.e. grasshoppers, grubs, fleas, and over 230 soil dwelling pests). Bacteria found in the nematodes attacks and kills the insects. When using beneficial nematodes you must keep the top several inches of the soil moist to ensure that the nematodes don't go deeper looking for moisture.

Preying Mantis - These will feed on any moving insect. (Beetles, etc.)

Ladybugs - These will attack aphids, mites, thrips, scale and any soft-bodied insects.

Pyrethrins - Liquid broadspectrum control for soft bodied insects.

Diatomaceous Earth - Powder applied by hand or spreader for broadspectrum insect control.

Rotenone/Pyrethrin - Liquid broadspectrum control for soft-bodied insects.

Neem Oil - Liquid broadspectrum insect control which inhibits insect development, slows down egg laying, sterilizes, and deters feeding.

Espoma Garden Tone - 5-5-5 Granular

Daniels Plant Food - 10-4-3 Liquid

The Real Poop - 3-5-3 Granular

Sea-Green Kelp Extract - Liquid

Earth Worm Castings - 1-0-0 Fine Grain

Corn Glutin - 9-0-0 Granular

Organic Weed Controls

Corn Glutin - Kills roots of sprouting seed.

Horticultural Vinegar - Broadspectrum killer best used when temperatures are around 60-65° F.
